Specifically engineered for use with the Summit 2" x 3 1/2" Deck-Over Bracket Kit and standard 2" x 3 1/2" profile vinyl rails, this kit ensures a secure, level, and seamless transition for your drink rail installation.

Product Specifications

• Contents: (2) Brackets and (8) Stainless Steel self-tapping screws.
• Bracket Dimensions: 1 1/4"(W) x 3 1/4"(L) x .125 (Thick).
• Seamless Design: The bracket thickness perfectly matches the Summit Deck-Over Bracket for a flush, professional look underneath the deck board.
• Hardware: Includes (8) 13/16" stainless steel screws, designed to provide 11/16" of thread engagement into your deck board for a secure hold.

Drink Rail Installation Requirements & Tips

• Rail Reinforcement: We strongly recommend using internal reinforcement (such as an aluminum insert) inside the top vinyl rail. This ensures the self-tapping screws have a structural material to "bite" into rather than just the vinyl wall.
• Deck Board Thickness: Your deck board must be at least 1" thick. If you are using fascia or materials thinner than 1" for your drink rail, shorter screws (not included) will be required.
• Recommended Spacing: For vinyl deck boards, space brackets every 18" – 24".

Planning Your 8' Drink Rail Section

To achieve a professional install on a standard 8' section (approx. 92" clear span between 4x4 posts), we recommend 2.5 kits (5 brackets total) per section:

1. Place one bracket at each end, immediately adjacent to your Summit Deck-Over mounting brackets.
2. Install the remaining three brackets spaced evenly between them.
3. The Calculation: With the end brackets in place, you are left with approximately 88 1/4" of space. Dividing this by four equal spans results in a measurement of 22 1/16" from the outside of one bracket to the outside of the next.
